The Thursday night Northside session started in 2000 and spent many years at Rollie's Wharf before moving to its new location, The Blue Mist Tavern, in Bras d"Or.

The above jig was was made for exchange students Bridg O'Donnel (accordion, Co. Mayo, Ireland) and Grahame MacKenzie (fiddle, Inverness, Scotland) who during their semesters at CBU were both regulars at the session. It is one of many pipe tunes I made while assembing The Cape Breton Highland Collection. Composed on fiddle, this one would suit the Irish pipes.
