This tune has been passed one without proper title or composer reference for generations. The modern Irish title and setting is called Trip to Sligo. In the 1920s was recorded by Michael Coleman as Doherties. In O'Neill's Music of Ireland it is called Lark in the Morning (a title generally used for a popular 4 prt D major jig).
