Robert MacKintosh was a prolific composer and teacher during the late 18th century. The above notation is based on fiddler David Greenberg's performance on Tunes Until Dawn. Like Greenberg, MacKintosh 'went both ways' ... playing Baroque music as well as fiddle tunes.
