Kenneth and Angus MacKenzie (
Piob is Fidheall)

In Cape Breton this is generally interpreted as a jig however, in early Scottish collections, it was arranged both as a quickstep and as a 6/8 march. The setting above comes mainly from Kenneth and Angus MacKenzie who drew from MacInnes' setting (1940). My arrangement adds some fiddle touches plus the addition of an octave jump in the A part 2nd ending (from the Gunn Collection, 1840s).
