 Packie Dolan and Michael Coleman recorded The Black Haired Lass, a soulful modal tune which was first published in O'Neill's Music of Ireland (1903, Chicago). Not to be confused with The Black Haired Lad, a Scottish pipe tune from the Skye Collection which is coincidentally popular in contemporary Cape Breton.
