Sometimes known as Alex Joe's Jig our title apparently refers to a trip which the composer made. Alex Joe was the brother of a more famous Cape Breton composer Dan Hughie MacEachern. The notation above was first published in Jerry Holland's Collection of Fiddle Tunes. It has been reccorded by many people including Ashley MacIsaac on Fine Thank You Very Much .
