Brenda has long-admired the music of the Beatons of Mabou. The title tune on Tamerac 'er Down, was written by the late Donald Angus Beaton. The above tune was written for his son Joey. The notation above comes from her book, Brenda Stubbert's Collection of Fiddle Tunes.
