Father John Angus Rankin was the parish priest at Glendale, Inverness Co. He was actively involved with the Cape Breton fiddler's association. During the '70s and early '80s the annnual Glendale festival was a mecca for Cape Breton fiddlers. Jerry recorded this reel on Master Cape Breton Fiddler. It was first published in Jerry Holland's Collection of Fiddle Tunes.
